About the project
With the objective of giving back to children with cancer the ability to dream, play, develop their creativity, humanize care and contribute to their faster and happier recovery, the DODÓI Project was created, an initiative by ABRALE with support from the Maurício de Sousa Institute.
Children approve
The Dodói Project has many benefits for children undergoing cancer treatment. They begin to express themselves more clearly, understand the disease better and professionals are able to understand their reactions. Fundamental to achieve better results in treatment. Discover some histories.

There are two models to choose from for children: Monica or Cebolinha
Gibi and Activity Magazine
Turma da Mônica presents the new members, Maria and Sol.
Cards
The child chooses an illustration that symbolizes his state.
Games
A memory game and a track game make it easier to understand the treatment.
Pain Scale
A scale with characters’ features that demonstrate variations in pain intensity.
Poster
They explain bone marrow donation, blood donation and what the symptoms of cancer are.

ABRALE – Associação Brasileira de Linfoma e Leukemia – was founded in 2002 with the mission of offering help and mobilizing partners so that all people with blood cancer in Brazil have access to the best treatment.
Encouraged Project
This “Dodói Project SIPAR: 25000.159.980/2014-91” is encouraged by PRONON.
Established by Law No. 12,715/2012, the National Support Program for Oncology Care (PRONON) is a program implemented by the Ministry of Health to encourage actions and services developed by non-profit entities, associations and private foundations in the oncology field and people with deficiency. Individuals and companies that contribute with donations to projects in these two areas may benefit from tax deductions in the Income Tax.
