Good nutrition is important for everyone and, in cancer treatment, a proper diet becomes one of the main components for achieving positive results.
HOW DOES SERVICE WORK? IS IT AN ONLINE OR IN-OFFICE CONSULTATION WITH THE NUTRITIONIST?
Abrale started the free Nutritionist Care service, which is extremely important for onco-hematological patients.
Nutritional guidance is carried out by the committee of the Brazilian Lymphoma and Leukemia Association, which offers monthly in-person service at ABRALE offices. During the pandemic, however, all services were provided online. For patients residing outside of São Paulo, we offer online guidance on dietary care during cancer treatment
Abrale’s Nutrition Committee
It is made up of nutritionists with experience in the field of Onco-Hematology, who work towards better cancer care in the country, regarding the promotion of patient’s health and healthy, proper nutrition before and after treatment. The members that make up this Committee also help in the dissemination of information and the preparation of teaching materials.
